The site can be viewed at http://www.virtualathleticsleague.co.uk/ Again this year the entry is free. All you need to login is the Shine award Activation key that was in the pack we provided 2 years ago. Don’t worry if you have lost it as we have a list of this for every school. Many schools used the scheme as a springboard to some cross curricular work. Spreadsheets and graphs in maths, researching where other teams were from in geography and making work cards in ICT.
The league is running between April-July 2008. You have to enter 7 events from a list of 13 activities.
You must compete in 1 run, 1 jump, 1 throw + any 2 other events from any of the following groups:
Running: 6 x 10m Shuttle Run, Grab the Bag,
Jumping: Standing Long Jump, Vertical Jump,
Agility: Speed Bounce
