Up to 20 machines can be linked together through a lap top PC and projected onto a big screen.  The latest software has 3D images of the rowers as the complete the race. This really adds another dimension to the whole event and can create quite a spectacle.  Races can be individual, pairs, quads or eights with the boat moving at the teams average speed.
