Social Badminton for staff |
 If any adult is interested in playing social badminton on a Thursday night designed for beginners and improvers then attend sessions at Richard Huish sports dome from 7.00pm - 9.00pm. Sessions cost £5 and includes rackets, shuttles and coaching if you want it. Coach Dave Lovering.

Free golf coaching taster sessions at Taunton Vale Golf Club. |

Taunton Vale Golf Club in Creech Heathfield are holding free golf coaching taster sessions for adults every Sunday morning throughout September and October. There are also sessions for juniors every Tuesday morning in August and every Monday afternoon in September and October.
The sessions are open to beginners/non members and provide an ideal opportunity to experience the game of golf. To book a lesson with a PGA Professional please telephone Taunton Vale Golf Club on 01823 412880.

ASDA Y6 Kwik Cricket County Championships |
|
 The finals of the ASDA Year 6 Primary Schools Kwik Cricket Tournament 2010 took place at the Recreation Ground, Bath on Sunday 20th June. Tone SSP were represented by Parkfield Primary and Holway Primary who had won through to the county finals after competing in the Tone SSP Central Venue Cricket Tournaments hosted at Taunton Vale Cricket Club and the Wyvern Club.

County Mini Red Tennis Competition |
|
The first ever County Mini Red Tennis finals for Primary schools were played at the Blackbrook Tennis centre in Taunton on 1st July. Trinity Primary school and Dunster First school were the Tone School Sports Partnership finalists, taking part in the County competition.
This event will now become a regular summer fixture.

The secondary school netball cup finals took place on 17th May 2010 at Taunton Vale. Thanks go to Becky Squire, Somerset Netball Development Officer for presenting the trophies on the day. There was a good standard of play with some close games - in the U16 final the winning goal came in the last 10 seconds. The results were as follows:
U14: Heathfield 12 Castle 10
U15: Castle 22 West Somerset 2
U16: Kingsmead 11 Castle 10
